Our Signature Patio: The rear patio is a perfect place for groups of around 50 to have a special celebration, including a raised area perfect for musicians.  Soon to be enclosed with a custom canopy, weather will not be an issue.  Book your family or company celebration.  Don't forget about holiday parties and the annual Parade of Lights December 19 and 20th.

 

Our Story
Margarita Villa was created after the Harbor did a number of surveys and discovered that patrons of the Harbor Village really wanted an upscale Mexican Restaurant with full bar service.  The space had been vacant for about three years and needed a lot of work.  After much discussion with the Port District, the Mikelatos family entered into a lease agreement and began construction.  The business opened in July of 2003 and has continued to increase its sales each year.  Darius Mikelatos manages the eatery and his friendly personality welcomes all to the upstairs location.  Darius has his finger on the pulse of Ventura and knows how to create fun promotions like 25 cent Beer nights and great bands for special occasions.  The front patio area and building exterior will be remodeled and expanded in early 2009.  The Villa is open daily from 11am-9pm, 10pm on weekends.
 
Specializing in multiple flavors of Margaritas, the Villa carries a large selection of tequilas and flight tastings.  A variety of Southwest flavors make up the menu, with fresh seafood in abundance.  Groups often gather on the rear patio overlooking the Harbor for small wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, family or business celebrations.  The spectacular ocean sunsets are best enjoyed from the front patio.  Its upstairs location also offers outstanding viewing for the annual Harbor Parade of Lights and Fireworks shows.
 
Two stairways and elevator access make reaching Margarita Villa very easy.  Just above the Village Carousel makes it a popular spot for families.  Like its sister restaurant, The Greek at the Harbor, Margarita Villa is a great supporter of local schools and non-profits making a difference for Ventura.
